Belt Progression System

Gradings

Your path from white belt to black belt. 14 belt levels, each representing growth in skill, discipline, and understanding.

How do Gradings Work?

Have you observed the white uniforms and the variety of colored belts? For newcomers to Karate, here is an explanation of the grading system. White through green belts undergo grading, typically three times annually, while blue through third brown belts are graded twice a year. Younger students receive a red stripe upon passing a grading, and upon earning two red stripes, they advance to the next belt rank.

Each grading tests your proficiency across these six core areas
