The OGKK Gauteng Kata Championships 2024 was a showcase of precision, dedication, and the beautiful art of kata. Palm Court Karate students represented our dojo with distinction, demonstrating the results of months of dedicated practice.
Kata, the formal patterns of movement in karate, require perfect technique, timing, and spirit. Our competitors showed all three in abundance. From the powerful movements of Gekisai Dai Ichi performed by our junior students to the intricate Seiunchin executed by our advanced practitioners, every performance was a testament to their hard work.
Congratulations to all our competitors! Whether you placed on the podium or simply gave your personal best, you made Palm Court Karate proud. Special thanks to the parents and supporters who travelled to cheer on our team.
