"I'm not fit enough to start." "I don't want to get hit." "I don't have time."
We hear these concerns frequently. But the truth is, self-defence isn't about being an athlete or a cage fighter. It's about empowerment.
Our Wednesday evening Ladies Self-Defense & Fitness class (19:30–20:30) is designed specifically to address these barriers. This is not a combat sport class—it is a practical, supportive environment where women learn to protect themselves, build confidence, and discover their inner strength.
We don't teach you to be paranoid; we teach you to be aware. Our focus is on situational awareness—identifying danger before it materialises—and practical, no-nonsense techniques to escape a confrontation.
You will learn to recognise pre-incident indicators, maintain safe distances, and project confidence. Attackers target perceived vulnerability. We eliminate that perception.
Treadmills are monotonous. Hitting pads is stress relief. The fitness component of our class develops your cardiovascular endurance and core strength naturally, because you're engaged in learning a valuable skill rather than counting down the minutes.
Every drill serves a dual purpose: building physical capability and mental resilience. You will leave each session stronger—both physically and mentally.
All techniques are drawn from proven Karate principles, adapted specifically for real-world self-defence situations.
The camaraderie in this class is extraordinary. It's a group of supportive women lifting each other up—sometimes literally! There is no judgment, no competition—only mutual encouragement and shared growth.
If you've been seeking a way to reclaim your confidence and your fitness simultaneously, this is your opportunity.
Join us this Wednesday at 19:30. No prior experience required. No special equipment needed.
The best self-defence is confidence. We'll help you find yours.
See you on the mat.
